Pros

Work from home, gain good experience speaking to many different people around the world.

Cons

Promised advancement but it is rare and work is just repetitive. Metrics are a joke as they don't take into account system issues that arise even if you report to supervisor. Not all supervisors are the same, some definitely more qualified than others. You can have the best "sales rate" and you get to enter a contest and see if you're lucky enough to win extra money. Performance is not rewarded based on doing the best, its your luck.

Pros

Decent pay. Decent benefits. Good PTO policy. Employee-owned company.

Cons

Training is woefully inadequate. Advancement is inconsistent, and it is extremely common for high-performing employees to be promoted and then subsequently demoted through no fault of their own, due to internal restructuring (loss of a contract, offshoring, outsourcing, ETC). This has a devastating impact on morale, and management does not seem to care.
