Pros

I was drawn to the organization by the Mission and values ; orientation had me pumped to be apart of this team. For a while , it was good.. I believe the foundation has it right, and there are many great individuals here, but middle level down ...not so much ... PDO, benefits, flexibility

Cons

Leadership and management play favorites, diversity is a joke; no room for growth , longevity takes precedents over college degrees, pay is not at market value for duties assigned. Depressing environment negative staff , high turn over , dress code speaks for itself, employees given t-shirts to wear on game days and some dept managers won’t allow their members to participate which says we are NOT “one team” as CEO prefers.

Pros

- Great experience for healthcare - Learn lots of valuable skills and knowledge - Availability of shifts The ER at Adventhealth Tampa is a great place to work it when you're focused on your personal goals in developing your skills within healthcare. The location is constantly busy and there is always something to do. Moreover, there are plenty of shifts to pick up if you need the extra money. The skills you learn as an ER Technician are beneficial especially if you want to move up in your career.

Cons

- Constant workflow and very busy - Not very welcoming The ER at Adventhealth Tampa can be very busy at times. Some days there will be 40-60 patients in the department others will be 70-100. It can vary each day, but most of the time the work is very busy. There will be a lot of sick patients. Moreover, the place doesn't feel as welcoming or friendly, it feels very cliquey. Unnecessary attitude between coworkers for no reason.
