The people and the patients. I’m reminded daily with my colleagues that everything we do serves a purpose in the care of others in our community.
Cons
National holidays are paid by forced use of PDO. Additional closures around every holiday force you to use more PDO. Communication is atrocious when there are leadership changes or roles are eliminated. We rarely have any direction on who to contact when someone leaves or is terminated This campus is not treated like any other in the region. Benefits at other campuses are not extended to this one Benefits are restrictive and services mostly only available in the AdventHealth network and the out of pocket is still very high No work life balance for 40hr employees. So much room for improvement on work from home or adjusted work schedules.
