Pros

The pay is average, but still not enough.

Cons

The amount of stress you get from working here will change your life, the health of my fellow coworkers and I has dropped tremendously. You will be disrespected, talked down to, lied to. Your schedule will be changed all the time, your hours cut, then overworked due to the high turnover rate. The management plays favorites to a fault, the work atmosphere suffers and the rest of the unit makes up for all discrepancies that occur.

Pros

- Great experience for healthcare - Learn lots of valuable skills and knowledge - Availability of shifts The ER at Adventhealth Tampa is a great place to work it when you're focused on your personal goals in developing your skills within healthcare. The location is constantly busy and there is always something to do. Moreover, there are plenty of shifts to pick up if you need the extra money. The skills you learn as an ER Technician are beneficial especially if you want to move up in your career.

Cons

- Constant workflow and very busy - Not very welcoming The ER at Adventhealth Tampa can be very busy at times. Some days there will be 40-60 patients in the department others will be 70-100. It can vary each day, but most of the time the work is very busy. There will be a lot of sick patients. Moreover, the place doesn't feel as welcoming or friendly, it feels very cliquey. Unnecessary attitude between coworkers for no reason.
