Pros
Aerotek always has entry level positions open for new college graduates. The company does provide some modicum of training to new employees.
Cons
I have been employed with Aerotek for many years now and was hired directly after college. Aerotek usually employs workers immediately after they graduate because they do not fully understand the business world or how a staffing agency should be properly operated. This seems to benefit Aerotek as they can mold you, usually for the worst, to the company's needs. You have to deal with many unhappy, and rightly so, contract employees and this tends to take up a lot of your time. I know most recruiters will ignore contract employee phone calls to avoid hearing their complaints, but this is not appropriate in my opinion. The company needs to correctly tell contract workers their pay rate and terms of employment. Their is little positive contact with management inside the office level and absolutely none outside the office level. I have never heard any responses to my inquiries to management. There is no communication! The more I understand business ethics the more I realize Aerotek should be more respectful to Aerotek and contract employees. The company should set standards of accountability which are wholly lacking.
