Pros

Good people to work for and good stepping stone for a better opportunity. I got a close friend out of it. (She is no longer their) and got some good training.

Cons

After working for Aerotek for 4 years it was time for a move. The turn over is huge ,in the 4 years that I worked their over 30 people left or got fired. (The office consisted of 40ish employees. ) The company advertises the opportunity for advancements and opportunity to make money but in reality it's takes almost 2 years to get promoted to an account manager and out of all the account managers 1 or 2 account managers are making over the 6 figures that they advertise. During my time their I was a top performing recruiter and ranked top 5 within the region. With that being said my salary with commission was 80k. Unfortunately the long 60 hours weeks, high quota , and turn over made me realize that a 65k corporate recruiter is way more comforting then working for Aerotek. Don't get me wrong the company trains you very well but aside from that this company is a good stepping stone for something better. I would avoid working for them. Aerotek is known as the McDonalds of the staffing industry. They are a big company but lack the respect for their employees and customer service for their clients and contractors. Aerotek still has yet to win a "Best of Staffing Award".

Pros

Great people, great training, great entry level opportunity to get into recruiting and sales. If you are successful you will make more here than about anywhere else. Performing Recruiters are making $55k-$75k. Great Recruiters are making $100k+. Every large office has salespeople making $200k-$400k. Culture is 100% committed and generally cool type-A's you would want to have a beer with. The skills, drive, and sense of urgency you learn at Aerotek serve you well anywhere you may go later.

Cons

If you are just looking for a low-commitment 8-5 job while posting on social media about where you are partying that night...you will not like Aerotek. Success requires an all in approach both in work ethic and active support of the culture. That is not for everyone. There are Political Science grads 3 years out of college making $200k+, but there is a price to be paid. All the tough work comes first. If you are not up for the level of work and commitment, Aerotek is not for you. If you are, none of this is really a "con" As far a real cons go, the benefits are only OK, and finding work/life balance is pretty difficult.
