Grateful but happy to have moved on - Senior Manager Aetna Employee Review

I admire and fully support the Aetna values and mission. The CEO has insight and ideas that can ultimately inspire positive global changes in the healthcare industry. The problem is, these ideas do not necessarily trickle down to the employees and most are stuck in a culture where it is expected that the company is FIRST above all else. The lip service suggests otherwise, but it is understood that work comes first and politics play a great part in how you are rated. This ultimately impacts work life balance where there truly is no balance. Very stressful.
