Large caseloads with constant changes in the metrics that need to be met. High expectations to be perfect in all documentation with little recognition. Members with heavy needs can lead to a stressful work environment. It is difficult to take time off of work and use your available PTO due to the fact that the work never stops and your members have continuous requests and needs while you are away. We do have a designated co-worker for coverage, but they also have their own large caseloads and it can be difficult to manage. Large amounts of time spent taking members to case rounds to discuss their issues with very little actual helpful content to come from the meetings.
