Pros

Culture is hit or miss in the Bay area, and this team has something truly special when it comes to culture. The team gets along really well, but still has great diversity. The leadership has set an example of being truly open to other's ideas and concerns and actually takes action on every one's feedback. Listening and considering everyone's feedback is shown by every manager and every person in the company. There is a subset of the customer base that are true, raving fans. This makes it easy to come to work every day and know you are making a huge impact on problems that persist across many industries and relieving a big pain. Customers refer many other customers and the business continues to experience viral growth through word-of-mouth. While I work harder here than I have at most startups, the team also makes plenty of time for fun - be it a random video game session after hours or during the many company and team outings. The mentorship here, not only from your direct manager, but all of the brilliant people in different parts of the company is another huge plus. The engineers are some of the most brilliant in the Bay, young and incredibly hardworking and smart (check their LinkedIn profiles). They ship at incredible speed, and have a great relationship with product and business teams.

Cons

The CRM space is quite crowded and it is tough to stand out, so it is a good thing there is tons of word-of-mouth happening because the product does not have a wider reputation / brand recognition yet. There is not a clear stance if the product will attempt to dominate an existing category for more industries , or pioneer a new category altogether in the near term. The company is at an inflection point where there has been impressive traction with a couple of markets but not completely clear where the next big opportunity will be. That is part of the fun of joining a company at this stage, but also concerning since that will impact the product roadmap as well as rising threats in the competitive landscape. People who like to tackle breaking into new markets, shipping features really fast, and are willing to work really, really hard thrive here. People who want a recipe book handed to them, or who are uncomfortable with uncertainty will really struggle here.

Pros

The people are hands down the reason I get up every day and enjoy what I do. They are collaborative and operate with a team first mentality - we operate with the assumption of good intent which creates psychological safety within the organization. With this foundation, we enable a culture of innovation, growth mindset, and authenticity. My second favorite thing about Affinity is the lack of "red tape" - if you can dream it and your team has the resource for it, you likely can embark on project to take your function, team, and company to the next level! Given this, I think it's a great place to grow and develop.

Cons

Given the lack of red tape, we can benefit with more documented processes. This is a work in progress and we are making great headway in this area, but a heads up that there's still work to be done to codify our processes. Second, not necessarily a con but a heads up, given the nature of being a Saas based company in an ever evolving space, things can change, and quite quickly. Being able to handle the plot twists will go a long way at Affinity.

Pros

Affinity is one of those rare companies where the culture matches the pitch. From day one, the collaborative environment is evident, teams genuinely work together, share wins, and support each other's growth. There's no cutthroat competition between reps; instead, leadership fosters a team-first mentality where everyone's success is celebrated. Compensation is competitive and structured fairly, with clear OTE targets and realistic quotas that reward strong performance. When the team overachieves -- and this team does -- it's recognized and rewarded. The benefits package is excellent as well, covering health, dental, and vision with strong employer contributions, and there are additional perks that show the company genuinely thinks about employee wellbeing beyond just the paycheck. One of the standout aspects is the career development culture. There are real, defined pathways for growth -- BDRs aren't left wondering if there's a future here. Leadership actively invests in coaching, call reviews, and one-on-ones that are actually meaningful rather than just going through the motions. If you put in the work, the trajectory is there. The product itself also makes selling easier. Affinity solves a real problem for a sophisticated buyer base, and it's easy to believe in what you're selling — which makes a huge difference in motivation and authenticity on calls.

Cons

Like any growing company, there are moments where processes are still being built out, but leadership is extremely transparent about that and actively working to improve.
