Pros

Pay is awesome! It feels good to tell people you work at AFLAC. Resources for career development.

Cons

Call Center is probably the worst place I have ever worked Production trumps a healthy state of mind. 11am-8pm shift - no work life during the week PLUS there is word about Saturday’s being mandatory for some people. High level stress. Not a lot of support. Seems like you have to jump through SEVERAL hoops just to promote within. Coworkers not very friendly-

Pros

Freedom to be your own boss, trips, bonuses, renewable income (instead of one time commission), career instead of just a job. FORTUNE 500 and a World's most Ethical Company. Great training (at least here in Wyoming) and a family mentality. Great family/work balance.

Cons

No base pay, can be a slow start at first, you have to be very organized and self-driven, have to be licensed in life and health to sell insurance (but my management help with the process).
