      None in my personal experience

      It’s literally a scam, a MLM scheme. 0 base pay, commission only. You pay for all your own licensing. You literally walk around business parks going door to door to try and set up an appt to discuss products further, legitimately desperately bombarding the receptionists & clearly, no one is ever interested. Absolutely mortifying, 100% worse than cold calling, which you also do. There are no real leads given. I was provided 1 piece of paper & every # on it was disconnected.

      Pros

      Freedom to be your own boss, trips, bonuses, renewable income (instead of one time commission), career instead of just a job. FORTUNE 500 and a World's most Ethical Company. Great training (at least here in Wyoming) and a family mentality. Great family/work balance.

      Cons

      No base pay, can be a slow start at first, you have to be very organized and self-driven, have to be licensed in life and health to sell insurance (but my management help with the process).
