      Pros

      Flexibility, fun environment. Lots of alcohol.

      Cons

      Not setup for success--they use the "hire anybody, see who sticks mentality," instead of investing in those who could actually be successful. As such, there's a lot of terrible agents out there making it harder for the good agents to get in the door.

      Pros

      Freedom to be your own boss, trips, bonuses, renewable income (instead of one time commission), career instead of just a job. FORTUNE 500 and a World's most Ethical Company. Great training (at least here in Wyoming) and a family mentality. Great family/work balance.

      Cons

      No base pay, can be a slow start at first, you have to be very organized and self-driven, have to be licensed in life and health to sell insurance (but my management help with the process).
