Pros

You didn't have a manager breathing down your neck.

Cons

Would work 8+ hr shifts w/ no break/lunch, standing the entire time, working the desk alone. Heavy work load for such little pay and for one person to handle. Managers didn't care about employees and had no regard for proper scheduling or training. GM and AGM were no where in site when irate guests would ask to speak w/ them. I was literally told by management "I'm not here" and for me to "deal with it". Management would lie (ex. I was hired on as a full time employee. Four months later I was told that I was actually hired on as part time and they cut my hours from 40 to 8 per week without notice. Then when they had to fire someone, they suddenly increased my hours back to 40 after I explained to them I had to take on another job since they cut my hours. Management threatened to fire me if I didn't make myself available even when I brought up they had said I was only a part time employee. When asked for proof on my application, they had none.) Needless to say, I quit on spot after that incident because I couldn't take their negligence any longer.

Pros

Great company benefits! Loved all my team members however, the GM should be investigated as well as lots of the employees as there was drug use on the property.

Cons

The general manager is not suited for this role or company. We believe in love and that's not what he displays.

Pros

It is a downtown Boise hotel, fairly new.

Cons

The hotel ownership group has unrealistic goals, aspirations for this hotel and the on site team is a mess
