Engaged Employer

They just love how big they are. Maybe one day their infrastructure will catch up. - General Manager Aimbridge Hospitality Employee Review

Pros

Coworkers great. Higher ups were pretty horrific.

Cons

So many cons. 1) Poor work-life balance 2) They force you to leave positive reviews on glassdoor.com (seriously. look how many positive reviews there are all of a sudden). 3) They don't pay the team enough and getting fully staffed is incredibly hard. 4) Properties underfunded. 5) Bonuses for GMs and AGMs are a joke. 6) All they talk about is how BIG they are. I actually wonder if someone up top is over-compensating. 7) Upper management is disconnected and un-engaged with their properties. 8) Benefits are not so hot. Health insurance, in particular, is pretty pricey. You've got employees (especially salaried ones) that are putting in some pretty long hours and the least you can do is provide a insurance that is affordable. They ARE the BIGGEST hospitality management company, afterall.

Pros

It is a downtown Boise hotel, fairly new.

Cons

The hotel ownership group has unrealistic goals, aspirations for this hotel and the on site team is a mess
