Pros

Crew relationships developed are positive, Overall working environment is positive with "Just Culture" implemented and practiced within the clinical department.

Cons

The individual maintaining of multiple certifications throughout local entities is tedious and frustrating. Currently, paramedics operate under the limited local state EMS protocols they are licensed under instead of operating under the "blanketed" Air Methods protocols and procedures. This means the paramedics are trained in all critical care advanced procedures (as are the Flight RNs) but based on the state/location, we are unable to perform them.

Pros

Good pay for producers…not so much for those that don’t work. Which I am good with.

Cons

Bonus payments can be erratic. Don’t spend your bonus until it’s in your bank account.
