Pros

Cool people to work with on ground level. Pay is decent if you can get it. You will get a raise yearly.

Cons

Too many to list. Upper management is horrible, they have no regard for ground level employees, you are expected to work your job and probably 2 others with no extra pay or perks. Management worries more about please the stock investors than an employee's health. You will be worked to death. They play favoritism, there is no room ever for advancement, they prefer to hire outside companies to replace employees where to can to save cash, overall morale is beyond low in the company. They have a great PR department that gets paid to make this company look good on the outside, but really if you talk to employees they will tell you to run and never look back. This company has a high employee turn over rate. I'm pretty sure alot of these so called good company ratings are done by PR folks at Air Methods just to make this company look good. Oh yeah yearly raises are like pocket change. Benefits suck. They have one of the worst medical plans you will pay through the nose with copayments alone. List goes on and on...

Pros

Only pro was the hiring process which consisted of two interviews and then an offer. That should have been the first red flag.

Cons

Private Equity controlled organization. No onboarding process or training provided. You are sent to their HQ for two days of learning how to turn your computer on and how to open a couple of computer applications. They are looking for a zero to hero hire. Be prepared. Tumultuous with lots of turnover. Was told this was a career-long role and in a couple of short months, the CEO was fired, the VP of sales took off. New executive leadership team created an environment of fear and layoffs. Lots of huge egos and very little tolerance for questioning poor business decisions and strategies. No attention given to the voice of the customer and what would strategically help move the needle. It really gives off the odor of a company trying to be sold.
