Urban Airship goes above and beyond to provide an environment where employees can effectively contribute to the company's success while building valuable career capital. The large number of employees that have left and subsequently come back attest to this viewpoint.

Cons

Passing Dunbar's number. Watching the company awkwardly respond to the standard set of in-vogue grievances.

Pros

Airship has a good foundation, solid product, and some very smart people in various areas of the company. They have done a good job navigating some tough times during my time there and are still standing.

Cons

The company doesn't communicate that well from ELT down to the ground level. They lack any type of direction when it comes to their commitment to Inclusivity, and they don't have any people of color in ELT or even VP levels to speak of. There is also a huge overreliance on a handful of Engineers who people seem to think will just be there forever since they already have been there forever.
