Pros
They had the decency to extend termination date to the first of the following month. This extended company health insurance another month. Later discovered termination was a result of their contract mismanagement.
Cons
Don't hire PM's familiar with FAR. Big problem for a defense contractor. Had three different PM's in an 16 month period. Assume COR's can obligate new work. They can't. Apparently don't discuss new work with contracting officers. Found out 16 months into job my position wasn't funded. Were they paying me by cutting other positions? Who knows. Long as they got to claim it on other proposals they didn't care. Had the audacity to try and hire me back for another position under even more questionable scope. Insisted I sign letter of intent even though I accepted another position. Government should blacklist this company.
