Pros

Hands down best company I have ever worked for in my 10+ years of customer service / technical support. Right off the bat you get an hour long meeting with every member of the C-team and get to ask them anything you want! It’s extremely personable and informative. They really made me feel like a part of the team and not just another cog in the machine. Huge ups for that! The company culture is absolutely outstanding! I’ve never worked alongside such amazing individuals with such knowledge and willingness to share that knowledge! Open and inviting doesn’t even begin to cover it. It felt like the team and career I had always been searching for, without a doubt. Not just in my dept either, but across the whole board. Everyone is friendly and caring, no matter who you are or what you look like. They cater food weekly and they have a fully stocked kitchen with a fantastic office manager, who's always going above and beyond to make sure everyone is taken care of. The facilities themselves are outstanding as well. Rising desks, ping pong and foosball in the break room, not to mention a beer fridge!? You can take the company bikes out when you need some fresh air, and they even have showers for when you get back! I could go on and on.. This isn’t even scratching the surface of how amazing this company is. Their Survey platform has virtually limitless capabilities and a support team the likes of which I have never seen before. True heroes on that team, no exaggeration! I was welcomed with open arms and given every possible tool I needed to succeed. The training was phenomenal and the trainers themselves were amongst the most genuine and amazing human beings I have ever met. They had an answer to every question I asked and if they didn’t, they knew exactly where to find it. I’ve never learned so much in such a short amount of time than I did while working here. They took a lowly customer support rep in and gave him the skills and knowledge to grow and learn in a way he didn’t think possible. My only regret is that I didn’t have enough brain space to digest it all in the time I had. My team mates were so willing to help me understand anything and everything. They were patient and kind, and I am a better man for having known them. Their knowledge base and customer facing articles are rivaled only by Apple, and I think they’d still give Apple a run for their money. I have endlessly nice things to say about this company and the wonderful people that make it up, because it was an honor to be employed here.

Cons

This would be a 5/5 review had it not been for the “reason” of my discharge, which I won’t fully divulge here. The managers care greatly about their team members and it was inspiring to watch them at work. However, one in particular, never took the time to come into the office to meet their new team members and decided it wasn’t necessary to get to know them on a personal level. Scripted responses, without taking time to put one’s self into the other’s shoes, does not make a good leader in my opinion. I believe that every manager needs to get to know their team members on a personal level so they can judge them fairly and with mutual understanding. That is what a good leader means to me. Sometimes you just need to treat your employees like human beings. Communication has always been #1 in my book and I believed that was the case across the board prior to my departure. However, after a meeting where I was told that there was no reason to fear for my job and if there were any issues, they would be brought to my attention, and I would have the opportunity to speak on them. I was aggressively let go with reactive speed and 0 chance to advocate for myself. No write up, no verbal warning. It was absolutely devastating and I was heartbroken beyond words. Its always a 2-way street in any interaction, and my side has never been the cleanest, but through it all, I’m just grateful to have had the experience of working here, regardless of the outcome. Love the people. Loved the job. Wouldn’t change anything about it, except I wish I was given more of a fighting chance.

Pros

Great people in the sales organization.

Cons

The product team and some in leadership are disconnected from the market. Probably aren't the right people to grow Alchemer, especially in the AI age. New products don't work and are delivered a year behind schedule. Tough to hit the target when you have nothing to sell.
