Pros
Great revenues (nice salary), world leader in field, pedigree work environment. I had personal conversations with 2 different, very personable CEOs during my tenure there. On site gym, nice perks, a lot of flexibility and generally speaking, great leadership
Cons
Very hard to see professional growth if working in certain business units (which may be more of a universal problem). I was working in academics before joining Alcon for the second time. I saw a nice salary increase (~$30K) within the first year. But it was tough to grow past the initial job function, namely due to politics. I had friends in other areas see promotion with little to no extra effort. It may have been due to my mgmt team.
