      Pros

      Benefits and perks exist on paper and outwardly it would seem like a good company to join. WLB balance is good.

      Cons

      You may never receive the benefits as your manager may not vouch for them or grant you those benefits that only exist on paper. Also you might work on the same project during your whole time in Alcon as things progress slowly.

      Shift work here= 223. Two on. Two off. Every other weekend is a 3 day weekend

      Cons

      Watching people that have been there for years, even decades getting laid off.
