Screening procedure and lack of diversity is a real problem - Anonymous employee AlixPartners Employee Review

Pros

Decent pay and bonus (but you do hand over your life and personality at the door)

Cons

Very little diversity at senior levels by way of gender or LGBTQI+. The profiling & screening that is done as final round of interview strips out anyone who is not 'AlixPartners enough' so you end up with people who are all clones of each other... and if you do manage to be let in, you will be an absolute minority and you will be frequently reminded of that - in open forum. This homogenous grouping is held in high esteem and celebrated. The uniformity may be good for client delivery but is devastating if you need empathetic leaders who work to ensure that their people thrive or who collaborate across business silos.
