The culture here at Alkermes is fantastic. You work with truly dedicated professionals who go out of their way to do the right thing when it comes to helping patients and building a fast growing and dynamic business. We work hard to ensure everyone has a voice when discussing possible directions we can take a project and individuals' unique perspectives are truly valued. We are a rapidly growing company, so there are always additional projects and ways you can help outside of your individual role. Alkermes is "small" compared to other companies - but the work we do is big and the impact we have is far reaching and across important disease states.
Cons
As I mentioned in the "Pros", Alkermes is growing at a fast pace but is still small. Because of that it isn't for everyone. You can't rest here and kick your feet up to coast. It's not that type of company. Expectations are high because our size and the scope of work we do requires it to be that way at every level. For the right person that is driven, loves to help collaborate across multiple departments and is comfortable with high expectations this is an incredible place to work.
