Outstanding place to work. Excellent benefit package and very caring work environment. People generally care about each other in addition to our company's mission and purpose. What we do makes a difference. Employees want to do the right thing and that is what makes Alkermes unique. Lots of opportunity for growth and exposure to different work activities. Best company I have ever worked for and hope to remain here for a long time!
Cons
Growth pains as any company experiences. Sometimes longer tenured employees struggle to "fit" as we move forward and that can be challenging. Work/life balance varies by department. Some mention our location is not great, however, it's not bad and you can choose to live either close to the plant which is in a rural area, or in the bigger populated areas in northern Cincinnati or Dayton. Not an issue for most folks!
