Pros
Awesome benefits and good pay. Pretty hands off management approach which can be a blessing and a curse. No micromanagement. Cafeteria with good quality/priced food. Bonuses and raises each year depending on personal and company performance.
Cons
Management is super hands off and disconnected, making them more of a subject matter expert and fount of knowledge rather than someone who interacts with you and knows what you do say to day. Hard to prove yourself and get praised for going above and beyond but pretty quick to take the blame if you mess up. If you’re a temp/contract, you’ll be kept in the dark the whole time about if you’ll have a future with the company or not and may work around a year before you get considered for a position. Workload is typically either way too much to handle or almost nothing to do. Training is pretty awful and you’ll learn things more hands on through mistakes and trial and error than what you’re taught.
