You work with at-risk and troubled youths, many of whom have fallen on the wrong side of the law and have been provided by courts or by their school districts an opportunity to resolve their behavioral problems before being piped into the school-prison pipeline.
Cons
Long hours, irregular hours. Due to lower wages, most folks seek out tremendous amounts of overtime. If it's still the same as it used to be, an Allendale week can last up to about 80 hours.
