Pros

• Rapid promotion if you perform well (I was promoted to supervisor quickly). • Some coworkers were genuinely kind and hardworking. • Company initially talks a good game—mentions team lunches, outings, etc. (though these rarely happen).

Cons

• Toxic culture centered around metrics—no room for individual growth or learning curve. • Customer service team is treated as disposable. • Write-ups are used as a countdown to termination, regardless of improvement or stellar customer reviews. • Training is disorganized and insufficient—sets you up to fail. • High employee turnover due to poor treatment and unrealistic expectations. • Company denied reasonable remote work options—even after requesting a demotion to stay employed. • Forced resignation: I was told my resignation was accepted even though I never offered one. • Sales department is predatory—deceptive tactics targeting vulnerable populations. • Customers often pay more in the long run, especially if sued by creditors—this is not disclosed transparently by sales. • Customer service agents are left to clean up after the lies, without real tools or support.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While we’re disappointed to hear that your experience did not align with our values, we want to provide clarification on a key point: in accordance with company policy, employees who repeatedly fail to report to work without communication are considered to have voluntarily resigned from their position. That was the case for this separation being deemed a resignation. We understand that perspectives can differ, and while we strongly disagree with the severe claims made in this review, we take all concerns seriously. We will be escalating the feedback to the appropriate internal departments for further review and action where needed. At Alleviate, we remain committed to creating a respectful, performance-driven, and supportive environment for our teams, and we will continue to evolve based on feedback and accountability. Should you have any questions, want clarity on our personnel policies, or wish to formally discuss your concerns with us, please contact HR@alleviatefinancial.com.

Pros

Welcoming offices, management team has been nothing but supportive and engaging with questions on the best course for success.

Cons

There can be a large learning curve if you are unfamiliar with debt relief and credit review.

Pros

View is nice but literally the only redeeming quality

Cons

They over work you and treat you like it’s your fault that you’re not producing when there’s hardly any tools available to work with. They prioritize incessant and many teams meeting instead of letting people work on their productivity. The phone system sucks and you never know if it’s someone calling in or the dialer calling out and some poor schmuck answering. Lots of these “leads” are hardly vetted and it counts against you even if they weren’t qualified in the first place. And the pay plan is its own circle of inferno. It’s insulting and the reason why most of the people you will work with are working for minimum wage. Turn over rate is unbelievable and the managers are a bunch of middle management whip cracking drones. Not to mention one of them was just suspended for sleeping with a sales person. There are people who go to the hospital from mental breakdowns from this place and as of recently they fired about 30 staff in one week with no notice. As you can imagine there are a lot of lawsuits headed their way so be wary and don’t get caught in the middle.
