Pros

Nothing really anymore now that they’ve cut pay. It could provide some employees with an introduction to sales. Albeit, not a pleasant one.

Cons

There is no work-life balance. Turnover is astronomical so expect to be asked to cover for other stores. Expect to work holidays. Expect to eat dinner at 9-10 PM most nights. And the worst part? The commission structure continues to become practically laughable. It gets worse and worse over time. They will give you $5 on something they make $300 dollars in profit selling. It’s insulting to the hardworking sales reps that are putting in all the blood, sweat, and tears. Their organization values upper management and they don’t care about the foot soldiers in the stores who actually sell their products and services. Very disappointing experience ultimately. They want an 18-25 year old to come in and work 6 months without ever hitting their goals and pay them nothing except the hourly rate which is $14/hour, until they quit or move on. And the health insurance is absolutely horrible, even at the highest premium.

Pros

Can make great money. Move up the chain of command pretty quick Room for growth Decent benefits 401k plus match Good spiffs

Cons

Good till it wasn’t. I spent the last 8 years with this company and it’s been a great experience…untill it wasn’t. Company fired vp and a few directors and new director of the south needs to learn how to communicate. My last 3 months with the company and my direct boss and I only spoke 6 times in 90 days. Almost like he wanted me to fail, Once it came time for my departure I was not given a reason and when I followed up with HR to go over last pay check, accrued pto and possible severance I was left ghosted not once but twice. I dedicated 8 years of my life 24 hours a day on call and to be left with no answers isn’t a great way to run a business.
