Desk is run more like a call center than a sales desk. Bosses that manage each region say all the right things but are essentially powerless. They are more worried about protecting themselves than helping you grow your careers. Although a lot of the management team came from the desk they seem far removed from understanding the nuances and challenges of the RC role.
