Pros
Associate and analyst staff are hard working and bright individuals. You are responsible for a lot and grow quickly. The training program is a bit much but develops strong soft skills and capital markets knowledge.
Cons
Advisors and clients are extremely toxic. Fees are too high and investment underperform. Pay is less than industry standards. Turnover in this role is frequent and often lead to burnouts with the poor work/life balance. If you don’t want to be an advisor, good luck. All offices have a lot to work on.
