Pros
Culture can be good depending on the office. If you're new to the financial industry it can be good exposure to it. The firm will also sponsor the required licenses as well.
Cons
Extreme hours with high turnover, leading to more hours worked. Your experience is dependent on what team you're assigned to and what financial advisors you'll work for. I've seen associates work for extremely rude FAs who assign their associates menial work (personal errands, picking up their dry cleaning, etc.). FAs who perform average to above average are relatively immune from constructive criticism, despite Bernstein preaching a "feedback culture".
