      Pros

      Good benefits, and learning opportunities.

      Cons

      Regular layoffs, no loyalty to staff. Assume your starting offer is all you will get, raises are small and promotions erratic. Wrong people get promoted as your promotion depends on people who do not know you nor your job function. You are far more valuable to competitors than to AB, after working there a few short years.

      AB is a solid mid-sized company with a really good work-life balance. The culture is friendly and supportive.

      Cons

      Compensation is relatively lower compared to larger firms, especially big tech or larger financial institutions.
