Cons
I think there are too many hands on a claim throughout its life cycle, and things can get really convoluted if you're not careful. You could be contacted by multiple people from different teams, and they are not always on the same page. While this type of oversight seems helpful, it can cause delays that only reflect on the claims adjuster, as the customer has no idea why the claim seems delayed.
