Pros
The people seem to care for one another. Many leaders want their folks to succeed. There are a ton of opportunities for individuals to self learn and self develop. There are employee resource groups that cover a lot of areas and all are welcome. Diversity is important to Allstate.
Cons
Work is still very siloed. Almost tribal in some ways. Pay is middle of the road unless you work in technology. Internal growth for some may feel non existent. Benefits are middle of the road. Overall leadership skill is middle of the road. Too many leaders are glorified individual contributors. Due to recent layoffs you may not truly feel safe.
