Pros

-Camaraderie - you become very close with the people you work with -Loyalty - your co-workers and supervisors have your back and always stand up for you when you are in need -Mileage - reimbursed for most travel -Training - they are committed to follow on training and personal development -Accountability - they expect you to fulfill your responsibilities and give you the opportunity to find your own creative solutions to problems -Autonomy - you are given room to manage your team as you see fit, as long as expectations are met and goals are achieved. -Support - leadership is always available for assistance, requests, information, guidance, etc. and offer genuine interest in your well-being. I worked with some of the greatest, most supportive, instructive, invested supervisors of my professional life. Leaving them was heartbreaking.

Cons

-Very few paid holidays. -Convoluted Time-Off procedures. -Have to work with school system regardless of how inefficient/bureaurocratic/micro-managing/etc. the school system may be.

Pros

Very very kind and understanding management. I really like them as people. I've heard through the grapevine that there is dissonance among them sometimes but maybe that's normal, idk i've never been in a middle/upper management position. I've always been treated with kindness and empathy for my situations, and they will try to reach a middle ground as long as it doesn't come out of their pocket. Cool career advancing opportunities that I just never took advantage of.

Cons

OH MY do they suck at communication. Not all of them, but a couple ones yea for sure. They will always prioritize their pocket against your wallet. If you are looking for a full time director position this one is NOT it and barely pays my bills. It worked for some people but just didn't for me. In the interview for a director position ask them to be upfront with the hours specific to the location they are hiring you for. Maybe email it to them after idk just know that you will never get full time 40 here.
