Pros

work/life balance, opportunities to grow if serious about career path, supportive management, get to work with kids (this could be a con if you don't like kids), having the opportunity to change and mentor the lives of kids who might not get that anywhere else, training made available on information you need, knowing that the company I work for is based on enriching the lives of children and working to get people with the same mindset to help achieve that. I came to this company after being at one that was not so supportive of staff and it changed the way I look at working in general. I have had wonderful bosses and horrible bosses, but you guys take the cake. I came to work here because I wanted out of a bad job and into one I thought would be better and what I found here is more than that. These people that I get to work with everyday have become a second family and they are the ones that I have learned from and have helped me grow at AlphaBEST.

Cons

This is a job so some days are great and some days are not so great. Thankfully the great ones out number the not so great ones.

Pros

Very very kind and understanding management. I really like them as people. I've heard through the grapevine that there is dissonance among them sometimes but maybe that's normal, idk i've never been in a middle/upper management position. I've always been treated with kindness and empathy for my situations, and they will try to reach a middle ground as long as it doesn't come out of their pocket. Cool career advancing opportunities that I just never took advantage of.

Cons

OH MY do they suck at communication. Not all of them, but a couple ones yea for sure. They will always prioritize their pocket against your wallet. If you are looking for a full time director position this one is NOT it and barely pays my bills. It worked for some people but just didn't for me. In the interview for a director position ask them to be upfront with the hours specific to the location they are hiring you for. Maybe email it to them after idk just know that you will never get full time 40 here.
