Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience. I’m so glad you felt like the environment was fun – we strive to bring fun and learning together in all we do at AlphaBEST! You mentioned, though, that you didn’t get enough hours and felt like there wasn’t a growth path for you at our company. I’m so sorry that was the case for you, but wanted to share that we’ve made significant changes in the years since you left our company to help address feedback like this. For example, we have introduced a coaching model to replace the outdated annual review, allowing team members to build closer relationships and allowing our staff to work closely and consistently with their supervisors to develop growth plans. Thank you again for sharing your feedback here. Best, Heather Alfonso, COO

Pros

Very very kind and understanding management. I really like them as people. I've heard through the grapevine that there is dissonance among them sometimes but maybe that's normal, idk i've never been in a middle/upper management position. I've always been treated with kindness and empathy for my situations, and they will try to reach a middle ground as long as it doesn't come out of their pocket. Cool career advancing opportunities that I just never took advantage of.

Cons

OH MY do they suck at communication. Not all of them, but a couple ones yea for sure. They will always prioritize their pocket against your wallet. If you are looking for a full time director position this one is NOT it and barely pays my bills. It worked for some people but just didn't for me. In the interview for a director position ask them to be upfront with the hours specific to the location they are hiring you for. Maybe email it to them after idk just know that you will never get full time 40 here.
