      Great people- boring job - Client Service Associate AlphaSights Employee Review

      Pros

      1. You’ll constantly be surround by young people fresh out of uni 2. Easy to make friends and have personal relationships with colleagues 3. Amazing office- vibrant culture 4. Support is provided in terms of performance 5. Will teach you how to work under pressure and manage time 6. Their salary is pretty comparable and you can make a lot of money through commissions

      6. The job itself is very basic and boring and doesn’t offer any hard skills that are transferable 7. As you’ll often read in responses to reviews- this job really isn’t for everyone. Great as a starting role, not much career skills offered via progression 8. Diversity in race not background. Most of your colleagues are from the same university with 2-3 years of gap which results in group think. Not much opportunity to meet people from different walks of life 9. Immature management. The frat vibe still exists and even senior level management engages in frat like behaviour frequently ( and yes this includes the hazing and excessive drinking ) 10. Inability to take constructive feed back and implement ideas bottom up. Your ideas for change will be dismissed so don’t bother trying to tell your managers there’s a faster and better way to do something

      AlphaSights has an incredible culture and a highly supportive environment. I recently celebrated four years with the firm, and I've truly enjoyed the combination of high support and high performance. I have a great deal of autonomy in my role, work alongside an exceptional team, and continue to learn and grow every day. I'm so grateful that I started my career at AlphaSights.

      Pros

      Rapid Progression & Recognition: Performance is directly rewarded here. If you hit your goals and show drive, the path to promotion and career growth is transparent and fast. Strong Team Culture: The team energy is fantastic. Everyone is highly collaborative, supportive, and commercially minded, which makes for a great working environment. High Autonomy: From day one, you are given real ownership over your projects (like leading recruitment events, managing candidates, and driving partnerships), allowing you to grow your commercial skills rapidly.

      Cons

      High Velocity & Pressure: The work is very fast-paced with strict timelines and high-volume expectations. It is not a place where you can coast, and you need to be comfortable working under commercial pressure. Resilience is Key: Sourcing and recruiting require a great deal of resilience. You have to be comfortable with rejection and persistent in finding creative solutions to hit your targets.
