In the past, I would have said the work-life balance was good, but now the company has decided to stab its employees in the back and renege on its promised word of 3+2 remote work forever. Work can be mundane while also over-asking of the average associate. The firm likes to market itself as a top-tier employer but constantly pinches pennies, it promotes a culture of non-transparency behind executive decision-making as well as compensation (telling associates not to inform other regions like the US or EMEA or specialty cohorts of raises). This not only feels morally wrong but also illegal in light of salary transparency laws and leadership reminds you time and time again not to discuss your pay with other regions or groups. Their worst case is if employees discover there are discrepancies and demand raises as has now happened 2 times. Heaven forbid they try to treat employees right or stick to their word. AlphaSights also loves to try to say that you are so much better off there despite the lower pay because of the balance they offer. (While at the same time walking away from the things that promoted that balance and which should fully be considered compensation/benefits as listed under their own job postings like remote work). No one has faith in, trusts, or even likes C-Suite leadership or VP teams and while the managers are all great, everyone is always seeking to exit after a year on the job once they see how the company really is. I used to love working here, but now all I want to do is leave for a company that respects me and my fellow employees for the work we do and treats us how we want to be treated. I implore you, do not work here.
