Pros

Great proving ground as they at times give you a heavy workload, and if you manage it well it is rewarding. Perhaps a function of being understaffed but lower level employees get challenging work and earn experience that you would only get exposure to as a more senior employee elsewhere.

Cons

Demanding at times due the feeling of being understaffed. Salary could be more competitive. Top heavy organization in certain areas and not always a meritocracy for employee recognition.

Sales, and Marketing function budgets have been reduced, not much emphasis on traditional meter growth. Unfortunately at the direction of the local public service commissions (DC, MD, and VA)
