Pros
I had a great experience at Altamira, but left after moving out of the area (partner's job relocation). Good people overall. Each time I visited our HQ (for meetings et al) I was engaged by the CEO (current one) or another executive and asked for input on our customer(s) and the work I was doing...seems like new executive team was making honest efforts to make changes/improvements across the board. wish I hadn't moved, because I would certainly have stayed. It is definitely a company where it is what you make of it. If you are pro-active with solutions and communicating to management, you can play a bigger role and advance in the company.
Cons
when people are hired, make better introductions company wide (announcements) and explain what they were hired to do. I saw a lot of people hired and much of the time wasn't sure who they were or what they were being hired for. This goes to my 2nd point--need to get people at various offices/locations better acquainted with each other so it is more like one big company versus distant offices.
