Altar'd State is the type of company that makes me forget about my problems.
It starts from the moment I walk in the door and comes through in everything I do. All around me I see pictures of children we sponsor in Peru , groups of co-workers at charity events smiling at the camera and thank you notes from local charities we have donated Mission Monday money to across the country.
I am not a religious person by nature. Yet every day I open my email and read prayer requests submitted to our website from people I will never meet. The reminders that I am not alone in my struggles and the gratitude I can feel from the images around me, give me the perspective I need to push through and give 110% of myself every day.
I may not be able to physically help anymore, but Altar’d State gives me a way to help others while sitting at my desk.
