Upper management had major issues while I was there, LOTS of pushy sales tactics that we had to answer for constantly, required to stay 2 hours past closing even if there wasn't the workload to justify the payroll waste. It's definitely understandable for retail businesses to have sales goals, but there's a way to push for those without feeling like we're being pushy. I felt the whole time like we were playing this super-friendly role and pretending to be the customer's best friend, but VERY obviously as a means to an end. I also felt like when my store had a vacancy in management, there were many keyholders who would have been VERY qualified to step up to the position, but they were all passed over in favor of an outside hire.
