Pros

The discount is nice 40%-50%. I also likes the fact that there was a lot of different styles to choose from. All of the girls I worked with were amazing.

Cons

This company preaches from the start about value and integrity. I unfortunately did not see that from the upper management. You are absolutely worked like a dog. Salary management worked 60 +hours every week with many late nights and early mornings. There is no room for anything else in your life but work, so if you are married or have children don't expect to see them. The CEO is very aware of the unrealistic expectations he has but does not show any urgency to make employees work load any better. The turn over rate is extremely high and you never receive any praise. The CEO is very unpleasant and his vision is not going in a positive direction. He founds a company on Christian values and then completely changes his direction and opens up on Sundays. It is the most unorganized company I have ever worked for. They have not provided stores with the proper resources to run it efficiently. Their markdown process is the most frustrating thing you will ever experience. Don't expect to get a list of items being marked down or have mark down guns for that matter. You have to bring one of every item in the store and scan it at the register. And you are praying the home office uploaded the markdowns correctly. The home office even told us the day after we were there all night that they lied about having markdowns the night before because they just wanted to make sure we didn't miss any prior markdowns. Mind you the average store has at least 15,000 items. Upper management was constantly doing things that caused an unnecessary use of payroll. But if you even briefly expressed any type of frustration , you were told you and anyone else were easily replaceable. Finally, the pay is just embarrassing. Associates work for minimum wage and managers are making that by the time they put in all the hours they do. It's honestly not worth the stress and energy , when you can go to any other retailer and they will value you.

Pros

Everyone that isn’t a leader is nice in my opinion

Cons

They wanted us to be more peppy and cheerful, but when I did it the manager would ask me why am I being loud. But when I was quiet they would assume something is wrong with me and talk behind my back about how they think I don’t want to be there. I just have to ask why is it considered loud when I follow the standards.. these were managers talking about this (store manager & district manager). You would think if there was an actual issue with my customer service performance a customer would complain about me or the manager would politely ask me if I’m doing okay instead of talking behind my back and making assumptions. It makes me wonder why was I singled out amongst the entire team? It came off as micro aggressive and offensive as a poc.
