Pros
Met some of the most humble and compassionate people in my city from working at Altar'd State. The discount is great and the clothes are cute. The giving back aspect is awesome!! Started with a very good vision and has maintained that vision over the years.
Cons
The company expects you to sell, sell, sell... They give you an unreachable goal each day and treat you like the prized pup at a dog show when you reach that goal. You don't receive commission... even when you sell $5,000 worth of product in a week. All the money you earn goes straight back into the company, unless you have really great self control. It is impossible to get a day off, no matter what the occasion. AND FORGET trying to call in. They make that impossible by making you find someone to cover your shift, but scheduling everyone to work every single day, so no one can virtually pick up another shift.
