Pros

Some really good, conscientious people who work here.

Cons

Do yourself a big favor - both customers and prospective employees - and don't go near this place. Their employee turnover has been extraordinarily high for as many years as the reigning CEO has been in place. He's a cast-off from Georgia Pacific, who 'borrowed' GP's so called Guiding Principles. This company touts and recites these Guiding Principles in cult-like rants with every internal meeting or other company communique'. Disregard the fake positive reviews here. Really, no kidding. This may sound petty, but those of us who work within the higher levels of management know they aren't true. And as far as being an AJC preferred employer? - truly laughable. They are the complete opposite of this. Here's what they do, they hire Directors and VPs (who may look good on a resume), who fire good people. These good people know how to do their jobs, but are 'seasoned professionals' not boot lickers, so they know where the proverbial bones are buried. Then these over zealous Directors / VPs are found out to be incompetent - and THEY are finally fired or are told to resign. But by that time, some seasoned professionals and other truly competent people have been canned and are long gone. So what's left? They start over again with hiring new over-zealous Directors / VPs who hire new people, feed them the Guiding Principle kool-aid and see how long THEY last. The new people either wise up and flee, or they become victims too. (see a pattern here?) Why the new owners (after Bain) don't see what's really going on here is a mystery to many of us.

Pros

Everything, co-workers, company culture. People here actually care about you. It is truly one of the best places I have ever worked for.

Cons

Nothing that I can think of.

Pros

Strong growth and opportunities to develop and implement improvements. Excellent exposure across all branches of the organization and access to key resources. The team is highly supportive, with everyone committed to doing their best.

Cons

Frequent leadership changes and a disconnect between senior leadership’s mission/vision and what is experienced on the floor. Results are often driven by individual effort rather than standardized, repeatable processes, creating risk when key contributors leave. Accountability response is slow, and operating as a “company of companies” continues to present challenges.
