Pros

Decent pay and benefits and high quality training department.

Cons

Shop is plagued by low morale and high turnover. Incompetent leadership throughout the company. Extremely high turnover for management and an ever increasing loss of customer base as a result. Communication between the departments is non-existent, the left foot never seems to know what the right foot is doing. This causes confusion between customers, sales, and service and jobs are rushed with little regard to quality. Little to no career advancement opportunities for technicians.

Pros

Bettendorf Altorfer has a great team atmosphere of very dedicated employees. Benefit package is excellent. Love the early hours so I can spend the afternoon with my family. The training program is very in depth and ongoing throughout the year. Altorfer is willing to invest in their employees. Many 20+ years.

Cons

There's not alot of cons. You have to be able to work in weather, cold, heat, rain, etc.

flexibility with schedule is a pro!

Cons

no upward mobility in company, no growth within your department, bring up issues and then get picked apart, pay you based on Iowa cost of living even though we live in IL.
