Layoffs - Anonymous employee Amadeus Employee Review

The R&D divisions run the company and eventually decide on the commercial strategy. Very heavy processes, micro-management, old technology stack. It takes at least 3 months to do anything in this company. But the worst lately is that, like the rest of the travel industry, Amadeus is being hurt by the pandemic. As a consequence, no more budget, layoffs, hiring freeze (except Bulgaria & India), offices being closed, etc. It will take two-three years to recover (being optimistic).
