Amazon is the best place to work. work/life balance is best. Loads of learning , highly skilled engineers , social email is the best way to get so many inputs on any kind of query.
Cons
Check the Team before joining as some teams will kill your expertise for e.g. AMS team where leadership and managers are playing with career growth of engineers. No one is checking attrition and measuring managerial performance . Leadership is silent and have a blind eye on teams. Few check if you are joining Amazon Dublin: Be Carefull : Amazon is big , they can give you good money to do a menial job. Make sure to check level at which you are joining and team as growth, promotions are really hard to get and you end up stuck with crap for two years , doodling around Ask for no. of promotions , different Level of engineers in team and what is a growth path and rate .
