Pros
I worked at AWS for nearly 2 years, and as I said, its a truly great place to really learn all things AWS related. Doing support for many huge customers you learn different use cases for different services at a pace like you would no where else. You also learn great training presentation skills, and interviewing skills. You get free cool drinks. You work with really smart people.
Cons
You work weekend and public holidays. You compete with fellow colleagues for lime light, otherwise you rarely get recognised, which hinders the team work culture. Management, at least at the office I worked, typically did not care much, not sure if they get the same heat from above but they really managed smart engineers as if they are callcenter agents.
